i'm tired and cranky. but at the same time, i am so relieved that the school week has finally come to an end. albeit there is much homework to be completed during the weekend but at least they aren't all with due dates set for the next day. know how frustrating it is to have to complete and hand in multiple pieces of homework at the same time? so little time, so much to do, not that that's going to change anytime soon.

i feel as if a month, instead of a week has passed since school started. more work, 1 more lesson a day (compared to last year) and malnutrition are going to to take a toll one of these days. (hah! like it hasn't already.) next week's not going to be any better. the 3 tests on consecutive days are bound to keep me busy. so many tests this year, we're probably going to end up spending more time studying for tests then actually mugging for our O-level papers. i don't think they should give us so many tests because since we're all last minute muggers, we'll forget everything after the test has been completed and handed in. but do they think about such things? no.

anyway, went out with jin ting, yu ying and mel for lunch today. and we started discussing the issue of where we want to go and what we want to do after the O-levels. it's nice to just be able to slow down and have a lively and funny conversation once in a while. but i have a feeling i'm going to be having less of those as the year progresses on. yuying's always nice to have around cause we're both so lame and it's funny how we always get onto each other's nerves (oooo, bio. what fun! ;p). this morning, cherylyn was commenting about how we can be such good friends and still do that. but that's exactly why we're such good friends- cause we provide each other with constant amusement. always a joy to have around, especially when she agrees to helping me burn CDs. :P

anyhow, i'm back home now and i can't believe mom just came in to tell me to go do my work. like hello? i've been working pretty hard the whole week. cannot i take a little break since it's friday? geez.
