just got home from jurong point. my mom wanted to go get some groceries so we had lunch there and ended up catching the 1430 screening of 'spirit'. the animation wasn't fantastic and neither was the show. besides the themes of hope and love, there wasn't much else to it. well, i guess it really isn't as bad as i make it sound but after reading the reviews and all, i was expecting more, quite a bit more then that.

heard melissa went to watch scooby-doo with sharon who has since gotten over her fever and is now left only with a sore throat. said she really doesn't know what to make of it... i have no idea what that means but i'll find out soon enough. on the other hand, deb's only complain about scooby-doo was that the ending was too abrupt. *shrug* never really been a huge fan of scooby anyways, so i'm probably not going to watch it.

hmm, probably won't get the chance to come online again tonight cause my sis will be getting back in a couple of hours and after 9 days of not being online, she'd probably hogging the thing till the wee hours of the morning. anyhow, i need to finish that book i've been reading. thing about 3-in-1 books is that they're very thick and hell to carry around. (think 'longman' dictionary size) *grumble* patricia cornwell is very good if you like crime fiction though. her 'scarpetta' series is totally addictive. stayed up till about 5am reading. i plan to finish 'cruel and unusual' and start on 'the body farm' by tonight. think i'll go stick my nose in that book now. whoo.

oh, and did i mention that i was thinking of making some changes around here, like maybe change the names of links and stuff and put in a mouseover type thing so it fits in with the whole garden/earthly theme thing but that would mean that i'll have to start thinking up names of flowers or stuff like that... hmm.

my dad and sis are finally back from malaysia and now my mom's paying all her attention to them. and my sis is going on about how bored and night-marish travelling with my dad and grandpa was. lol, they have a tendency to start talking very loudly cause it's like both of them are hard of hearing... it can get quite embarrassing sometimes. for some reason, i don't feel very interested about what she's going on about. damnit! i want some attention too! *whine* lol. bah! think i'm going to read somemore.
