- double the aid sent to the world's poorest countries,
- fully cancel their debts,
- change the trade laws so that they can build their own future.
Just found out about this because I've been out of it for quite a long time now. Being somewhat of the human rights idealist that I am, I feel this is a good cause. Yes, it might be a long shot, but we have to start somewhere. Indeed, doubling aid might not help until a better system of governing is put into place in these countries, but allowing them to start with a clean slate is a good place as any.
