retail therapy (part 2)

and more shopping!

went to the metro warehouse sale today with mom and sis, and were joined by dad after he got done with work. not sure when i turned into this shoppaholic, i even scare myself sometimes. (then again, yy claims i scare her all the time. *shrugs*)

bought another pair of slippers today. oh yes, this is getting rather addictive. i'm starting to understand what's with those people and shoes! heh. and this ddp shirt i saw and was tempted to buy some time ago at $60 was going for 8 bucks! goodness. needless to say, i decided to get it. and saw a ddp pullover thing in the men's section which was going for $25 (usually $90!!!!!!). think the sales person was quite amused as was pretty excited and animated when told parents of my finding. was way way way way too big, but decided to put it on for the heck of it (and because was feeling really cold). it's very comfortable! well, it's made totally of cotton so would expect no less. but but but *sputters*... it's brilliant! absolutely LOVED it! but mom refused to let me get it because she said was too big, which as much as i hate to admit, is true. dad was saying how i could prolly chop off the sleeves and use it as a dress. hrmph! why don't they make things like that for females instead of the hedious looking things they call fashion these days, huh? i'd definitely buy lots and lots (if the price was reasonable, of course). then poked around the cologne section with dad and came across hugo boss' boss in motion! think it's the one rahman used to use before he switched to ck crave. it smells really really really nice! pity couldn't persuade daddy to buy it. lol.

went for dinner at east coast park after that. the beef noodles there are really good! must file it away for future reference. :) haven't been to the beach in quite some time, especially at night. was really beautiful, if not cat infested which made me very jumpy. haha.

and sis managed to borrow the samurai x series dvds from her friend, which we spent most of this morning/early afternoon watching! very good. it's the only anime methinks is worth watching. the art is beatiful! i really enjoy the way the artist plays with lighting and shadows. so the people are still kinda weird (and kenshin is sometimes so feminine it's scary), but watch it for the rest of the art. really.

it's been a really great day. :)

Love, Wan
