it's been quite awhile, but it's not my fault really, everytime i had time to update, the 'add an entry' function was inaccessible so.. but now that i'm here, i'm sure it makes things all better, eh? :p

anyhow, thursday was spent collecting old news papers and clothing in aid of the breakthrough missions home for CIP. back breaking and throughly tiring and after that, the day was spent slacking at home, staring into space mostly immobile. bah.

had world trade games on friday. very interesting set-up that simulates the trading that occurs between countries. lucky me got to be venezuala that was quite poor, we had $4000, 2 units of wheat, 4 units of oil, 7 low skilled labourers and 1 highly skilled worker per round. but using admittedly underhanded (but legal) means, we managed to do decently well in the end. much hardwork and very frustrating as the rounds got shorter and shorter but the game was really cool. after that, got home, slacked somemore and went for genus, a concert by the NUS guitar ensemble. it was truly brilliant, even though the dresses the girls where wearing made them look old and shapeless. within the ensemble, there were a few good flautists as well. what a talented bunch! a very enjoyable and affordable concert i must say. whee!

don't know where all my time went on saturday and sunday. it seems i didn't really do much but it's all passed by in a flash and the school week's here again. oh joy!
