general stuff

firstly, i passed everything! phew.

secondly, everyone congratulate jy when you see her because she is officially a graduate of ngee ann poly (finally). hehe.

thirdly, congratulate rahman when you see him as he is still student of said institution.

smiles.

with that said, it turns out yy was right about princess diaries 2. it's a very feel good kind of show which makes me think of her rant about romance novels:
"romance novels. be thay the trashy sort, or the sappy sort of the bimbotic, fit-for-the-dustbin garbage churned out by insipid american writers, all i can say about them is stay away from 'em. never thought i'd say this, didya? well, i am now. these treacherous little things are designed to make even the most cynical and heart-hardened of us believe in soul mates, and happily-ever-afters, in riding off into the suset on a white stallion behind Prince Charming. they're the vicious steel-traps of socitey, written by evil little people, who want to make you believe that true love does exist, that somewhere out there, beneath the deep blue sky, the Love of Your Life is waiting to sweep you off your feet and wrap you up in love's embrace. and you know what? its all a lie. these evil people write these evil books, and unsuspecting people go to bookshops and se them, and, as is human nature, wanting to believe that such bliss does exist, buy the books and read them, and slowly grow to believe that true love does exist, your prince charming will find you, and you will live happily ever after.

but it doesn't happen!!!!!!!

at least not to me."

"it's one of those movies that makes the rest of us without happily ever after feel kinda sad"

although cliche and with characters which weren't well developed, i felt the presence of the two male leads and prince william (who i happen to think is very cute and if you don't, i've nothing to say to you :p) made the movie worth watching.

funny thing was that yy asked if i want to watch it with her on wednesday just before i actually watched the movie today. have set up date to watch before sunset with her. should be fun since haven't see her in quite a while. :)

Love, Wan
