but ok, SERIOUSLY, besides the sky-high "eye candy factor" (sorry to be using such a grotesque phrase, but...in this case, its true..;)) and the super duper uber CuTE guy in it, its still supremely watchable. why, then did it only get like two stars or something, you may ask. haha. i don't know EXACTLY, but i think its mainly cos it's not so much a PRINCESs DIARIES story as a love story BANKING o the premise of the Princess diaries. its just one of those happy, sappy, candy-sweet love stories that just make you feel happy and mushy and all-believing in true love and happily-ever-afters when you walk out the theatre. in that sense, its great. cos its funny, in a Mia kind of way, sweet, but not saccharine. and hey, julie andrwes sings, for like, the first time since her opperation went wrong. and did i mention the male lead is totally hot? hahaha.
so in that sense it rocks my socks.

but as a SEQUEL to the princess diaries, i'd have to say its not really good. i guess its kinda dumb to actually MAKE a sequel of the original film, cos the charm of THAt particular film lay in its cinderellaness. so a sequel prolly wouldn't be able to do THAT again right?
so well. don't watch it as part2 of the mia turns from outcast geek to fairytale princess tory. watch it as a lovely romance filled with beautiful people.grins.
and not to mention one HOT GUY! hahahahahahahahahaha."
