watched 2046 with jo today. thought was going to spend the day home again since was supposed to go with yy today but she called me this morning to say that her mom had plans for the day :/, then jo smsed me after his paper and said he was bored, so yay! mooooovie!

brilliant.

the movie was definitely not jo's cup of tea. (see [no pun intended ;P], next time, you really shouldn't agree to watch movies you haven't heard of. haha.) could tell he was feeling rather restless by the middle of the show. i enjoyed the movie, though! (and then again, i was the one who really enjoyed bottled dreams right from the start. lol. it was good what.) granted, it was somewhat draggy, but think the percieved dragginess was intended and served to bring out some of the emotion. also, the music was fab! wong is a genius! the way he combined fiction with reality. it's so surreal and yet totally captivating. go watch it! me wants to see it again. :D

one warning though, the beginning's quite choppy and confusing but everything falls into place as the movie proceeds. they always said that patience was a virtue. heh.

and if an evil person by the name of johannes christian see attempts to dissuade you from going, please ignore him. wahahaha.
